At N3RD, every design tells a story—sometimes a hilarious one. Our "Let's Table That" design was born out of what we call the graveyard of bad ideas (or at least, ideas that weren’t quite ready for prime time).

If you’ve ever worked on a creative project, you know the feeling. You come up with an idea that sounds brilliant in the moment… but then the more you sit with it, the more you realize— eh, maybe not today. Some designs got tabled because they didn’t fit our current aesthetic, some were a little too ambitious for our production setup, and others just made us laugh for all the wrong reasons.

We started joking about it so much that it became a running theme in our design sessions. Any time we came up with something questionable, someone in the family would say, "Let's table that." Eventually, it hit us—why not make this the design? The ultimate tribute to all those tabled ideas.

Creativity is a wild ride, and while not every idea sees the light of day, they all shape the journey. Who knows? Maybe one day, some of those ideas will get resurrected. But for now, this design is a little inside joke between us and anyone who’s ever had a “brilliant” idea they weren’t quite ready to commit to.
